Box Office Mojo gives listings of annual box office by studio 

which shows the dominance of the big six studios.

Frozen 2 (aired on the 22nd of November) is currently on top- 

making £11 million daily. The film industry that produced this is 

Disney.

The top 2019 movies include: The Avengers (endgame), Toy Story 

4, The Lego Movie 2, etc.

Big-budget blockbuster: Disney (Tangled)

Small-budget independent film: Mandate pictures (LOL)

Similarities: Both industries are regulated by bbfc. They will 

both have story-boarding and money to produce their films. 

Differences: They have very different budgets so the props or 

quality of the production will be very different. As well as this, the 

ability to marketise the product will put Disney at an advantage. 

Disney is also an internationally popular industry making it easier 

for them to distribute Tangled globally. 

( FUN FACT- Tangled took 6 years to make at a cost of estimated  

$260 million. This would make it the most expensive animated film

 of all time. The reason of this is because they had to make every 

single stand of Rapunzel's hair. )
